ORBII Is Now in Early Access

TL;DR: ORBII, a hands-free voice SOS app for women in India, is now in early access on Android. We are testing it with our first users before the public launch on Google Play. You can leave your email to be notified the moment it opens to everyone, or ask to join as an early tester.
Today is a big day for us. After months of building, ORBII is real, installed, and working, and we have opened it to a small group of early testers ahead of our public launch on the Google Play Store.
This post is both an announcement and an invitation.
What ORBII is
ORBII is a personal safety app built for women in India. Instead of forcing you to unlock your phone and find a button in an emergency, ORBII responds to your voice. You set a distress word. Say it, and your phone instantly alerts your trusted circle with your live location, hands-free, even with the screen off.
The part we care about most: your distress word is recognised entirely on your own device. Your audio is never uploaded or sold. It works offline, and it understands English and Hindi. And the core features are free.
Why we are starting with early access
ORBII is a safety app. That means it does not get to be “mostly working.” When someone reaches for it, it has to work, on their phone, in their moment, every time.
So before we open ORBII to everyone, we are putting it in the hands of real users on real devices. Different phones, different networks, different conditions. Every bug they find is a bug that never reaches someone in a real emergency. On a product like this, that testing is not a formality. It is a responsibility.
Early access lets us do exactly that: learn, fix, and harden ORBII with a small group who genuinely want it to succeed, before it carries the weight of protecting people at scale.
What early testers get

What is next
From here, we test, we listen, we fix, and then we launch ORBII to everyone on the Google Play Store. This is the beginning, not the finish line.
