Choose bSafe if live streaming matters most to you. During an alarm, guardians can see and hear what is happening in real time, which ORBII does not do. It is also on iPhone today, and we are not.
Choose ORBII if you are in India. Hindi and English as trigger languages, recognition that runs on your own phone so it survives a dead connection, 112 on the SOS screen, and the entire emergency path free rather than tiered.

Where bSafe is genuinely better
- Live audio and video streaming to your guardians during an alarm. ORBII has no equivalent and is not building one right now.
- It is on iPhone. ORBII is Android today, with iOS in development.
- It is a mature product with years of iteration behind it. We launched in 2026 and say so.
Where being built for India actually matters
A safety app is only as good as its behaviour on the network you actually have. ORBII bundles its speech models inside the app, so your word is recognised with no data connection at all, and alerts fall back to SMS when data fails.
The rest is local detail that global products rarely get right: a trigger word you can shout in Hindi, 112 rather than a foreign emergency number, and a location history that is deleted after seven days rather than kept indefinitely.
Questions people ask
Is bSafe available in India?
Yes, it is on both app stores and works in India. The difference is what it was designed around. bSafe is a global product; ORBII is built specifically for Indian conditions, which shows up in Hindi as a trigger language, in offline behaviour on patchy networks, and in 112 being the emergency number on the screen.
Which one is free?
Both have free tiers, and they contain different things. ORBII keeps the whole emergency path free: the voice trigger, your circle, live location during an SOS and one tap to 112. bSafe includes SOS and location free, and puts live streaming, automatic recording and unlimited guardians behind premium.
Does bSafe have voice activation too?
Yes, by their own description, the alarm can be triggered by voice as well as touch. So the honest difference is not that one has voice and the other does not. It is that ORBII runs its recognition on your own phone, in English with Hindi as a one time download, so it keeps working with no signal, and that ORBII is built around Indian networks and emergency numbers.
Which should I install?
If live video streaming to your guardians is the feature you want most, bSafe does that and ORBII does not. If you are in India, want the emergency path to be free, and need it to work on a bad network, ORBII fits better. Either way, 112 remains the call that dispatches actual help.
