What is the difference between ORBII and Satark India?
Mostly the trigger. Satark India works like most safety apps: you open it and tap SOS, and your saved contacts get an alert with your live location. ORBII is built so you never have to touch the phone, because the word you say is recognised on the device with the screen off. If you can always reach your phone, the difference matters less. If you cannot, it is the whole thing.
Is Satark India on iPhone?
Yes, it is listed on both Android and iOS. ORBII is Android today, with an iPhone app in development, and we will keep saying that until it actually ships.
Do either of them call the police?
Neither app dispatches police. In India the number that does is 112, and ORBII keeps it one tap away on the SOS screen. Treat any safety app as the layer that reaches your people quickly, not as a replacement for emergency services.
Can a tap-based app be enough?
For many situations, yes, and we would rather you used one than none. The cases it does not cover are the ones we built for: a phone in a bag, hands that are not free, or a moment where being seen reaching for a phone is itself the danger.
