ORBII vs Himmat
Himmat is a Delhi Police service that reaches the police. ORBII is a private app that reaches your people, hands-free, anywhere in India. This is not really a choice.
The short answer
If you live in Delhi, register on Himmat. It puts your alert in front of the Delhi Police control room, and police units can be dispatched to your location. No private app can do that, ours included.
ORBII covers the part before that: the seconds when you cannot open an app at all, and the people who are two minutes away rather than fifteen. It also works outside Delhi, which Himmat does not.

Where a hands-free trigger fills the gap
Himmat, like almost every safety app, starts with you opening it. That is a reasonable design and it fails in the same place all of them fail: when the phone is in your bag, your hands are not free, or reaching for your phone is the thing you cannot do.

Should I use Himmat or ORBII in Delhi?
Both, and understand what each is for. Himmat reaches Delhi Police directly, and the police are the only ones who can actually dispatch a unit to you. ORBII reaches the people who already know you, hands-free, and works anywhere in India rather than only in Delhi. They solve different halves of the same minute.
Does Himmat work outside Delhi?
It is a Delhi Police initiative, built around the Delhi Police control room. If you live in Delhi it is worth registering for. If you are in Bengaluru, Mumbai or Sonipat, the national number 112 is the equivalent, and ORBII works anywhere.
Can ORBII alert the police directly?
No. ORBII puts 112 one tap away on the SOS screen and alerts the circle you chose, but it does not auto-dial emergency services and it has no dispatch authority. Any private app claiming police response is overstating what it can do.
Which is faster in an emergency?
Getting the alarm started is faster on ORBII, because you do not have to open anything or press anything. Getting an official responder moving is faster on Himmat in Delhi, because the alert lands with the police rather than with your friends. That is why we say use both.
